WSIA provides career-long professional learning to advance the careers and develop the talent of members' employees. The Association offers a full-slate of education programs for new and seasoned E&S professionals. Designed to strengthen knowledge and cultivate strong leadership skills, WSIA education programs are offered in a progressive format so participants are appropriately challenged through every phase of their E&S careers. For surplus lines brokers, general agents and carrier underwriters who manage sales professionals
Participants receive customized sales coaching training geared specifically to transacting business in the surplus lines market during this one-day program. Any manager who leads a team of professionals responsible for revenue or premium production will benefit from this program.
Taught in partnership with faculty from Emory University's Goizueta School of Business as well as WSIA senior leaders and industry CEOs. This program focuses on managerial soft skills and leadership style awareness, overseeing effective wholesale relationships and books of specialty business, regulatory oversight and critical financial metrics.

Online CE Credits
WSIA seeks to utilize current technology to provide economical, professional and practical online education opportunities to its members. Success CE is the current provider of online CE courses for WSIA.
Under the program, employees of WSIA member firms can access the CE courses through the WSIA website and complete the process online. The cost is $34.95 (plus state fees) per person for unlimited courses for a year or $14.95 for individual courses. These costs are separate from any Surplus Lines Regulatory Compliance Course costs.
