Chris Timmerman

Christine (Chris) Timmerman joined WSIA in August 2017 and serves as the Senior Manager, Talent Outreach and Student Programs. While her duties encompass a variety of activities, she is primarily responsible for supporting WSIA’s Internship Program and college outreach, coordinating the WSIA Education Foundation symposiums, grants and scholarship programs, and supporting the WSIA Diversity Foundation's college initiatives. 

Prior to joining WSIA, Chris worked for 22 years as a student services administrator at colleges in Illinois, Texas and Missouri.  Her areas of responsibility included career services, internships, college outreach and recruitment, new student programs and orientation, scholarships, advising and counseling.

Chris is a proud alumnus of Kansas State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration – Marketing and M.S. in Education. Chris and her husband, David, live in New York City and have two sons, Kyle and Jordan.
