Denise Marshall

Denise Marshall is the Student Programs Manager for WSIA. She previously served as Office Manager since August 2017, and she began as Executive Assistant at NAPSLO in July 2013. In her role, she provides administrative support to the Executive Director, WSIA team, Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the association, WSIA Education Foundation and the WSIA Diversity Foundation. She also provides support to the Director of Diversity Equity & Inclusion and the Senior Manager of Student Relations with planning and coordination of student programs. Before joining WSIA, Denise worked in Marketing Services at Waddell & Reed and as a private banking accounts specialist. Denise also traveled extensively as a flight attendant for four years.

Denise attended Texas State University and majored in Mass Communications. When she’s not helping the team stay organized, she volunteers for various non-profit organizations in Kansas City and is a former board member of the Bacchus Foundation of Kansas City. She also enjoys playing lots of tennis with friends and family.
